Hey Moony, you do not know me. I have found you on Lionille's friends list and I would like to ask you a favor. I have gifted Lionille a paid subscription, as I have done anonymously for the last two (now three) years. I have gifted it to her early to take advantage of the 1000 free LJ tokens that go with it this time of year. I did this a few days ago, and she has not noticed it yet. I think it is because she no longer has an email account to receive notifications from, and if she's like me, she might miss the notice (or not have gotten a notice if LJ has hiccupped) in her inbox. The timing of the notification is not crucial to me--I am sure she will find it eventually-- but I do want her to know she has the tokens, in case she wants to spend them for the holidays somehow.

Anyway, I want to remain anonymous, and there's no way to send a message anonymously to her except as a vgift, and I have already sent a vgift, which she hasn't found yet either.

The favor--could you drop her a private message or leave a comment telling her to check her vgifts? I can't send a message, you can't do that anonymously, and I can't leave a comment as she has disabled anonymous commenting. I peeked through her friends, and found you who had logged on recently, who allowed anonymous comments and who does not log IP addresses. If you can help me out, I'd be grateful. You can go to her user info page and see the vgift I left, it is the poinsettia, so you know I am on the level.

If you don't want to do this, I understand, just thought I would give it a shot. Oh, and if you want to copy her on this message, that's cool too!
